He petted Colin’s head, thrust his hips gently, watching in awe as Colin serviced him. No man had ever been so keen to give him pleasure. Other than his first lover, the one his father had caught him with when he sixteen, all the men he’d played with had only reciprocated out of a sense of duty and fairness. Roddy had always wondered what it would be like if he’d been allowed to pursue his friendship with Andrew, if Andrew’s parents hadn’t sent him away to boarding school to keep him away from Roddy.
I could’ve had someone who wanted my happiness as well as their own.
Colin tugged him faster then covered his cockhead with his mouth and sucked.
“Oh God, darling, yes. That’s perfect.” He grasped Colin’s hair right as he humped into his mouth. “Going to come!”
Roddy tried to pull him off his dick, but Colin clamped his lips around Roddy’s hard flesh, suctioning him so hard that Roddy growled out a curse as he poured his seed down Colin’s throat. Colin coughed and sputtered, but didn’t move away as he seemingly attempted to swallow as much spend as he could. He finally stopped, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
“Come here.” Roddy panted it out as he grabbed Colin by his upper arms then dragged him up along his side until they were level. “There you are, my Colin.” He gazed into his new lover’s eyes, stunned by how the day had turned out. “I wish I could give you the kisses you deserve right now because you deserve all the care in the world.”
“Then you liked it? I did a good job?”
Colin’s expression was so earnest, and all Roddy wanted to do was keep the sweet thing in his arms safe and happy for always.
“Wonderful job and I didn’t like it, I loved it. You are so precious.”
“Can we do it again?”
Colin would be an endless source of enjoyment. But he needed to sign the club rules and figure out what his next move would be first.
“Again and again and again. But not right now. I promised Master Saul, Aaron and Ned that we’d meet them in the library when we were finished here. You want me to be a man of my word, right?”
Colin stared at him wide-eyed, as if Roddy was the king of the world.
“I do, Sir. I do.”
Roddy pressed his sore lips against Colin’s forehead before continuing. “And you know, darling, I’m not a Master yet. You don’t need to call me Sir.”
“Oh, but I must!” Colin sounded quite adamant. “You’re going to be my Master and I’m training to be your submissive.” Colin bit his lip. “I know I’ve been training to be a submissive already, even before I met you, but it feels like it’s only for you now.”
A sense of comfort filled Roddy and he gathered Colin close, caressing him and whispering words of praise and joy. At last he released him with one more kiss to his head.
“Yes, my darling Colin, I’m going to be your Master. And you’re all mine, training only for me from now on. Are we agreed?”
Colin beamed a big smile back at him. “Yes, Sir. Agreed.”
* * * *
“Well, I’d say that you both seem to have hit the jackpot with that Roddy fellow.”
Saul swirled the amber liquid of his brandy in the snifter as he relaxed in one of the large wing chairs in the library. As soon as their new recruit had gone over—and hopefully signed—the club rules, Saul had a boy of his own to get home to.
Ned leaned back in the love seat, his long legs stretched out before him and crossed at the ankles. He held a hand to his forehead, eyes closed. Javier had already brought him a headache powder when he’d served the coffee to both him and Aaron.
Javier needs an assistant. The club’s getting bigger and here the poor man is running about, serving coffees within minutes of taking photographs upstairs.
It was yet another thing Saul would have to add to his never-ending list. At least Ned had found him a large property in Sierra Madre, a small town at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, so that was one thing he could cross off. His future estate was located a few miles to the east, not very far from Aaron and Sam’s Altadena home and nursery. It was also right near the Red Car streetcars that went all the way up to the Mt. Wilson Observatory. Soon, his dear Kenneth would have his own workshop for restoring antique furniture, and Saul could have homes built for submissives who had nowhere to stay. He refused to ever let any man at his club be reduced to living in a filthy or dangerous flophouse ever again.
Aaron fished out his pocket watch from his jacket, then squinted at it as if he couldn’t believe what it read. “Good Lord. It’s almost two.”
Ned groaned without moving an inch. “Thank heavens you’re driving.”
Aaron chuckled. “Yes, well, I might lie down on your sofa for a bit before I head back up the hill.”
“Don’t be silly. We have a guest room.” Ned lolled his head toward Aaron. “And Evan makes a splendid coffee of which I’ll make certain he has plenty of waiting for us in the morning.”
“Then you have a deal.”
Saul huffed. It was getting rather late. “What in the devil’s name do you suppose is taking them so long?”
Aaron’s eyebrows shot up. “I’m guessing that Colin has already gone off like a cannon a few times by now.”
Ned snorted, his eyes still closed but with a curl to his lips.
Saul let out a heavy sigh. What do we really know about this Roderick Howard? From the story they told me, he was tearing about the streets with a rather angry man on his tail.
“Saul?”
He glanced up to see Aaron leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees.
“What is it, old sport?”
“That’s quite a frown. But I think it’s time to let him go, Papa Bear.”
Saul sputtered at the ludicrousness of Aaron’s intimation. “I beg your pardon. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being concerned that we’re allowing a stranger to be alone with someone so innocent.”
Ned barked out a laugh.
Saul practically growled. “If you have a point you’d like to make, it would be clearer if you were to use words instead of making those ridiculous noises.”
Saul’s remark managed to encourage Ned to open his eyes, his expression one of surprise. Saul pressed his lips together.
“I apologize, old sport. It’s no excuse, but I’m rather worn out, and truthfully, very concerned about Colin being left unattended with that man.”
Aaron and Ned exchanged glances before Ned spoke. “Apology accepted.” Ned smiled at him as if reinforcing his statement. “However, I’d like to point out a few things, if I may. Colin might be innocent in the sense of physical experience, but he’s the farthest thing from innocent in his mind and knowledge. He’s in a constant state of arousal, he masturbates freely at the demonstrations and makes sure not to miss a one—no matter how unusual the perversions. He’s the least innocent virgin I’ve ever met.”
Aaron nodded. “And more significantly, he’s an adult.” He chuckled. “Colin made sure to remind us of that already. And frankly? He’s right. We can’t control who he wants or what he decides to do. If we care about him, then the best we can do is allow him to live his life how he sees fit, then be here for him if he falls.”
Saul rubbed his face with both hands. It all made sense, was logical. But it didn’t change how protective he felt over Colin. “I’ll grant you both that. But what about this fellow? He seems wonderful, but shouldn’t we, I don’t know, check up on him somehow? We’ve had a few unpleasant experiences, not the least of which was Preston Cornwall. Then there was that conniving submissive, Irwin, the one who used to spend so much time with Vincent and who almost ruined his burgeoning relationship with his boy, Juan.”
Ned frowned. “I think I remember a friend of yours named Vincent, but I don’t remember the others.”
Aaron placed a hand on Ned’s arm. “I’ll tell you the story when we drive to your place, but it was an upsetting situation.”
“Mmm. Yes it was.” A thought occurred to Sau
l. “I suppose when I really consider it, even though Juan knew of Vincent because his friend Jack worked for him at Global Studios, he was in essence a stranger to him. I was a complete stranger to Kenneth as were you with Sam.” Saul held Aaron’s gaze.
Aaron indicated to Ned with a jerk of his head. “And Ned was to Evan.” He jostled Ned with his elbow. “I won’t pretend that Thomas didn’t have his concerns, but I think he was reacting from the same spot in his heart as you are, Saul. From a sense of duty and protectiveness over a submissive who has no Master to guide him.”
Saul crossed his arms, considering Aaron and Ned’s words as he settled back against the cushions. “Well then. I suppose it’s time to cut the apron strings, now isn’t it?”
I’m still going to add one more thing to my list. Checking on the background of potential Masters who wish to join the club.
Chapter Six
It was the best day of his life. Roddy, who he was sure would be his new Master someday soon, had touched him. Had sucked him. Sweat broke out on Colin’s upper lip as he ambled along next to Roddy, hand clasped in his. If he thought about Roddy’s mouth on his cock for much longer, he’d come without ever being touched.
It finally happened.
There was more that he wanted to happen—a lot more—but at last he’d begun enjoying his body with the right man. He was sure that’s what Roddy was. Colin glanced up at him, marveling at the way Roddy held himself with such confidence, always had the hint of a smile on his face.
Grandmother would’ve liked him.
A twinge of sadness hit his chest, made it tight.
“Ouch.” Roddy chuckled. “You don’t have to squeeze so hard. I won’t go anywhere.”
Colin hadn’t even realized he’d done it. “I’m sorry. It’s not that. I was just thinking about something.”
Roddy paused, gazing down at him, his eyes filled with warmth. He rubbed Colin’s cheek with one finger. “You must tell me what it is, darling. We won’t have any secrets between us. I also think I can be a better Master if I know what troubles you.”
Colin considered his words. It made a lot of sense. “Yes, you’re right. And I don’t want any secrets either. I was thinking about my grandmother and how much I think she would’ve liked you.”
Roddy stroked his cheek. “Ah, you poor thing. You miss your grandmother, don’t you?”
To Colin’s dismay, his eyes watered. It was important that he stay resilient. Roddy wouldn’t want him to be his boy if Roddy thought he was too weak. How could Colin take care of him properly if he wasn’t strong? One tear spilled over and he swiped at it quickly.
Stop it.
Roddy crushed him to his side, still petting his face then his head. He was mortified at the way he was behaving.
“You can let go, Sir. I’ll be all right.”
Roddy held him at arm’s length and gazed directly in his eyes. “You don’t like my caresses?”
Colin shook his head vigorously. “It’s not that. I love your caresses, very much. But I don’t want you to worry that I’m too weak to take care of you. Nothing will get in the way of that.”
“Oh, Colin. I know that. I’m not worried in the slightest! I’ll confess I still don’t know much about being a Master and what it means to have a submissive, but you must let me take care of you too. If I’m this supposed Dominant man and you’re my responsibility the way that Aaron and Ned explained in the car on the way over here, then I would think taking care of you would be a very big part of that.” Roddy stroked his head. “No secrets, right? You must bring everything to me, let me soothe you like a good and proper Master would.”
Roddy pulled him in an embrace and Colin clung to him. Roddy was the best Master ever, even if he hadn’t officially become one yet. He peered up at Roddy, still not letting him go.
“But you’ll let me serve you in every way, right? Please? I want to be your very good boy.”
A flush crawled up Roddy’s neck and into his cheeks, his heat radiating back at Colin even stronger than a moment before. Roddy cleared his throat before he spoke.
“I don’t have a doubt that you will be, darling. We’ll figure this out together, now won’t we? As you said earlier, we’ll both be learning at the same time.” He chuckled. “Isn’t it perfect?”
Colin’s heart lightened. Roddy knew just what to say to make him feel better.
“Yes, Sir. It’s absolutely perfect.”
Roddy pried Colin’s hand from around his waist then gathered it up in his own. “Then let’s not keep the good men of Hampton Road waiting any longer.”
“Yes, Sir. Whatever you say, Sir.”
Roddy winked at him the way he’d done so many times that evening and it lightened his heart even more. The future was there in Roddy’s eyes, in the way he spoke to him. Colin couldn’t wait to get started.
Colin pointed out which door belonged to the library and Roddy knocked firmly on it. Saul’s voice rang out, inviting them to enter.
“Ah, there they are. Come in.”
Saul indicated to a wing chair, obviously meaning for Roddy to have a seat. Ned and Aaron took up most of the room on the small sofa and Saul sat on the other big chair. There was only the desk and side chairs on the other side of the room that remained for seating. Colin didn’t know what to do.
Sam, Linus, Kenneth and Evan all kneel at their Master’s feet.
If it was good enough for them, it was good enough for him. The moment Roddy lowered himself, he let go of his lover’s hand then dropped to his knees. He’d been shown a few ways to portray his submission either in a public setting or privately at home with a would-be Master, but he chose the one with his hands folded in his lap. Of course, he also maintained straight shoulders and kept his head bowed, which most of the positions he’d learned required.
“What’s this?”
Roddy sounded confused, but Colin didn’t move in the slightest. Even if Roddy didn’t understand yet, he wouldn’t take advantage of the situation by being a slackster.
Saul chuckled lightly. “Your first taste of what having your own boy might be like.”
“Truly? I confess, I was taken by surprise. Are you comfortable like that, darling?”
Even if Colin couldn’t view the expression on Roddy’s face, the lilting sound told him he was smiling. “Yes, Sir. For the most part.”
“Oh?” Roddy stroked his head. “That won’t do at all. What part is uncomfortable?”
Colin had been so anxious to please, so excited to finally have his own Master to work with, he’d forgotten about how he always had a cushion for his knees when he practiced.
“I’m not used to kneeling on the carpet without a pillow. I’m sorry.”
“I see. Gentlemen, I don’t see the harm in him having a cushion? I’m not sure how I’ll feel about him being a submissive to me if he’s required to be uncomfortable or in pain when we’re not playing.”
Colin’s stomach clenched. He’d be devastated if Roddy gave up on being a Master so soon because Colin had driven him away. “Please, Sir, it’s okay. I won’t complain. It’s fine.”
Roddy hadn’t removed his hand, the weight and heat a comfort. “Shh, darling. Don’t be upset.”
“Yes, don’t fret, young Colin.”
He trusted Saul, knew his word was good, so he worked on the breathing that had been taught to him by Saul for whenever he got scared or worried.
“Listen, old sport, I imagine this will all be quite confusing initially. And our dear Colin here is a few steps ahead of you. He’s not only been training to be a full-time submissive for when the right Master comes along, but he’s also witnessed how the other submissives behave with their own Masters.” Saul let out a hearty chuckle. “As Aaron so rightfully pointed out to me this evening, Colin’s rather well-versed in every aspect of what goes on between the Dominant and submissive men here at the club.”
“Then I must work hard to catch up!” Roddy carded his fingers through Colin’s hair as he spok
e. “But would it be too much of a faux pas if he were to have a pillow for his knees?”
“Good Lord, no.” Saul’s words sounded hurt.
One of the throw pillows that’d been on the love seat was handed to him as Aaron spoke up. “Of course not. One of the things you’ll also discover as you go through your own training process is what it is that you want from a boy. If you wanted him to practice without a cushion so that he’d be available to kneel anywhere, perhaps service you that way in a demonstration, that could be one reason for denying him the pillow. Or, if it’s something he really dislikes, it might be a form of punishment.”
“Punish? Colin?” Roddy words were aghast. “I can’t fathom what he could ever do that would make me wish to punish him. I only want to give him pleasure through the infliction of pain.”
“And that gives me great comfort, old sport. However, as your relationship as his Master develops, you might find that Colin needs, shall we say, the occasional encouragement to focus on what he should be focusing on, rather than running amok.”
Heat built in Colin’s cheeks.
“But I don’t wish to hurt him through punishment. I want him to enjoy all the pain I give him.”
Aaron interjected. “Then find other things that will help deter him from acting out. Perhaps taking something he enjoys away from him for a period of time, such as sweets or the honor of sleeping with you in your bed.”
“Hey!” Colin slapped a hand over his mouth.
Aaron and the other men laughed. “And there we have a perfect example of Colin struggling to be the well-behaved submissive we know he is most of the time.”
“I’m sorry, Roddy, Sir.”
“There, there, darling.” He could hear the smile in Roddy’s voice. “I’m sure you are. I’ll have to ponder all of this.”
“M-may I speak?”
“Chin up. I need to see your eyes.”
